Fillings help restore your teeth damaged by decay back to their regular shape and function. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, the filling also helps prevent further decay.

If decay or a fracture has damaged a significant portion of the tooth, we may recommend a crown or a cap.

Here at Wilson Dental we use composite filling material. We believe that composite restoration material is an excellent option for our patients.

There are many advantages to tooth-colored restorations. They are bonded to the teeth creating a tight, superior fit and are matched to the natural tooth color.
Since the resin used in tooth-colored restorations contain fluoride this can help prevent decay. The resin wears like natural teeth and does not require placement at the gum line, which is healthier for your gums!
Composite resin dental fillings are also strong, durable, and make for a natural looking smile.
